Isaiah 61:1-8  “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor;  He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God;  to comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;  that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.
Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the foreigner shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, they shall call you the servants of our God.  You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory you shall boast.
Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.  Therefore in their land they shall possess double;  everlasting joy shall be theirs.

“For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering;  I will direct their work in truth,
And will make with them an everlasting covenant.

God takes the unworthiness that we feel and replaces it with worthiness – it qualifies us to “go” for the Lord.

This passage in Isaiah 61, is a picture of what happens to us once our identity is free from the shaping of iniquity.

“Iniquity operating against us is used by the devil to lie to us about who we really are.” (Unlocking Destinies from the Courts of Heaven by Robert Henderson)

Once the power of iniquity is broken, we are transformed in our thinking.  FREE TO BE WHO GOD MADE US TO BE!

  1.  Know your identity in Christ so that you can operate in …
  2. Your authority, so that you can …
  3. Release the prophetic and healing power of your words.

Proverbs 18:21  “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Prophesy LIFE, not death over yourself and your family.

Words to His Bride (Facebook Group):

“The devil’s greatest fear is the day when God’s children find out who they really are.  That day is now here.”

THE BOOK OF LIFE:

Psalm 139:16  “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.”

What is written in the book of your life?

What impact is your life meant to have on this earth for God’s Kingdom?

Ephesians 2:10  “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

HOW DO WE FIND OUT WHAT GOD’S PLAN IS FOR OUR LIVES?

  1. Read His Word so that you know His heart and understand His goodness and Who He is.
  2. Pray
  3. Meditate – by this I mean, think about His Word and listen for the voice of His Spirit speaking to your spirit in order for you to learn His plan for your life.

THEN,

  • Act on what the Lord tells you to do so that you can do the good works (Ephesians 2:10) that He prepared for you to walk in.
  • You have the choice to want to do His work, or not.

Philippians 2:13  “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

Your true identity is released as you choose to do what God has called you to do for His kingdom.

Father, I pray that my child will come to a realisation of who he/she is in You and of what You have done for him/her. May their identity be found in You and not in the things of the world that pass away. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
